Yes, shading of windows and skylights can be easily calculated and synced with the PHPP.
Shading objects can be automatically detected for simple horizon, overhangs, and lateral reveal shading objects, or calculated using the included window family object and aligning the in-built reference lines the shading objects.
For complex shading scenes, a detailed shading analysis can be performed to calculate winter and summer reduction factors in lieu of using simple shading object dimension. Please note that the reduction factors calculated by PH Live Sync cannot be used for certification purposes and manually calculated factors will need to be used. These can be calculated with the assistance of the included diffuse shading analysis tool.
